Southern Writers Magazine Valentine Catalog Showcases Love Beneath a Florida Sky

My husband and I enjoy fishing in the Atlantic Ocean and this is where I got the idea for the book. We have fished the Cocoa Beach Pier and Sebastian Inlet as well as spots in the ocean from our Carolina Skiff. We once had a Bass Tracker, so that's how I came up with the two boats used in the story. I wrote this book as a contemporary romance because I wanted to use our fishing and visiting sites in Florida and dedicate this novel to my husband for showing them to me. The story is pure fiction, and we have never been stranded on an island as the couple is, but we have had our share of thunder boomers  surprise us. I really do not like lightning so we do our best to keep an eye on the clouds and the weather app on hubby's iPhone. This story also contains a wee bit of history about Florida sites, so if you live here, you'll identify and if you plan to vacation, you might find  a spot of interest you'll want to visit. I wrote the book because I love the beauty of Florida and the beautiful ocean merging with sky in a vast display of God's creative talent. I also wanted to capture our fishing experiences on the page and dedicate a book of them for my husband. Without him, I would've never discovered the beauty of the Florida ocean or the other sites used in the book. I hope you'll enjoy browsing through my blog site and enjoy my books. Thank you for visiting.  Please leave a comment to be eligible to win a free book.

Love on a storm-tossed Atlantic Ocean island. Showcased in Southern Writer’s Magazine Valentine Catalog. Cari’s Bass Tracker capsizes in stormy seas. She’s stranded on an island with Blake. It took a storm to blow them together again. His warm lips met hers, and she forgot about the world outside. Only Blake and nature existed. The roar of the ocean and whipping wind sounded in her ears, but all she heard was Blake’s voice whispering in her ear. Love roars like a hurricane and crashes like the tide. She'd remember this moment for the rest of her life. No way could he ever top this, could he? Will they survive? Will their love be rekindled?   http://www.amazon.com/Love-Beneath-Florida-Sky-Robinson-ebook/dp/B00S6W7UZM/ref=sr_1_1_twi_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1421547423&sr=1-1&keywords=love+beneath+a+florida+sky …

Excerpts:

Cari ripped hers open to find a lined page from one of her spiral notebooks written in Blake’s handwriting. He opened his and discovered what he deemed “a real love letter” like he’d always wanted.
He grinned, and his mouth stretched across his face as wide as the Grand Canyon. “Took you long enough, Mrs. Sebastian.”
“Better late than never, Mr. Sebastian.” She smiled. “Read it.”

“Read yours.”

“You’ll never top this surprise, Blake Sebastian.”
“Just you wait and see. You might be surprised.”
His warm lips met hers, and she forgot about the world outside their comfort zone. For her, only Blake and nature existed, and she loved it that way, in their own little world. She’d remember this moment for the rest of her life. No way could he ever top this, could he?

“Haven’t done bad for a woman whose man tried to run her down with a Carolina Skiff.”

“Had to catch you. It worked.” He smiled and pulled Cari into his arms. “Life is good when you have the right woman to share it. I’m so glad I caught you, even if I had to chase you down in a boat to do it.”
“Why, darling, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I always told you I’d catch the biggest fish, and I did when I caught you. Reeled you right in.” She smiled and kissed him back for all she was worth.
